Task 3 LO1 Purposes and uses of social media channels

 The media product I am choosing is the Netflix original show 'Sex Education' and how they were doing a countdown of the release of the new season, for example the image below shows Netflix taking a scene out the previous season to tell the audience when they are going to release the new season of the show. This product is a series and the purpose of this series is too entertain but also educate people on Sex Ed and this is very beneficial as this series has two purposes which are beneficial to the audience. The Production company of this product is Netflix we know this because the series is a Netflix original and the image shown is posted on the NetflixUk instagram page. The target audience for this series is 16+ this is because the character are a similar age as the target audience so the audience can somewhat relate to the characters.
