Proliferation of social media- The amount of Social media links to advantages and disadvantages such as being apart of a community an negatives such as cyber bullying and trolling.

Ofcom because they regulate video content and because they regulate tv and radio 

ipso because they regulate written content.

Challenge-

What does self regulation mean- You regulate and monitor what content you share online and choose your online presence.

A problem with this is if a company says something offensive the account will get removed whereas if a individual gets in trouble they get banned for this and cannot use the social media app.

They should be careful as if they post something inappropriate they can get sack as they can ruin the image of the company they work for. For example Justin Sacco a PR executive at IACO got fired after a social media post as she was headed to Africa she posted 'I hope I don't get aids just kidding I'm white' after this post she got fired while she was on the plane
