Proliferation of social media- The amount of Social media links to advantages and disadvantages such as being apart of a community an negatives such as cyber bullying and trolling.
What media regulators might link to the monitoring and production of online content.
Ofcom because they regulate video content and because they regulate tv and radio
ipso because they regulate written content.
Challenge-
What does self regulation mean- You regulate and monitor what content you share online and choose your online presence.
A problem with this is if a company says something offensive the account will get removed whereas if a individual gets in trouble they get banned for this and cannot use the social media app.
LO2:Legal and Ethical
Regulation (Data protection Act, self regulation, freedom of speech versa inciting hate speech, injections, ISP roles)

This was a headline from the mirror about Ryan Giggs affair.
I do not believe that ISP should have a responsibility with social media regulation I believe that people should be able to write what they want without hating on other people and communities.
